Plastic Pakaging Pte Ltd, Sri Lanka   is  a fully  Sri  Lankan  owned  company  manufacturing  polythene  bags  and  sheets  for  exports  during  the last  28  years  mainly  to  the UK  market  .

PPP  is  a  family  concern  and  it  is  run  by  Mervyn  Dias  and  his  wife  Mayuri . Its  mission  is  to  provide  an  eco friendly  alternatives  to  plastic  bags  that  are  currently  in  the  world  specially  one  time  supermarket  bags  .

PPP specializes  in manufacturing  very  thin  bags mainly  bin  liners  from  3  microns  to the  export  market     using  a  special  technology  . Plastic Pakaging  introduced  Oxo-Biodegradable  bags  in  2003 to the uk market  and in 2012 to the Maldives  market  . BIOPAK   Oxo-Biodegradable Bags is approved by the EPA Environmental Protection Authority , Maldives  and therefore the BIOPAK bags enjoy a duty free imports to Maldives .

Thereafter PPP experimented with Compostable material  from 2006 and Naturplus was introduced to the UK  market in  2008 . The mission is to replace the traditional plastics  with  compostable and biodegradable bags . These can be composted in an industrial composting facility within 180 days  at home within 12 months
